The Fourth Annual Report of the Economic Advisory Group for Palau reviews the EAG’s May 2025–April 2026 activities, findings, and recommendations, highlighting Palau’s continued economic and fiscal recovery, stronger tourism performance, successful PGST implementation, and renewed reform opportunity under the 2023 Compact Review Agreement. The report also identifies key challenges, including pension and social security sustainability, infrastructure needs, audit delays, utility cost recovery, public health risks, and capacity constraints, and offers recommendations to support sound fiscal management, high-value tourism, donor coordination, public infrastructure planning, and long-term economic resilience.
