Palau Compact Update (Development Symposium 2023)

The 2023 Compact Update for Palau was delviered at the Development Symposium in November, 2023.  It covers Palau's Comapct Periods, the negotiated outcomes for all three Freely Associated States, the Topline Features of Palau's Compact Renewal Agreement, the upward fiscal adjustments that Palau will be facing, the lingering risk of delayed action from US Congress, and a few concluding observations.  The presentation was delivered by EconMAP team member, Kevin O'Keefe.
