This study, commissioned by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is designed to benefit its three North Pacific member countries and their development partners. This study provides information and analysis about the three Freely Associated States of the FSM, RMI and Palau as they approach an important milestone in their Compact relationships with the US. At the time of conceiving this study, in late 2018, the range of possible outcomes at the end of each specified Compact funding period for each FAS was quite broad, and ADB believed that the affected parties and their development partners would benefit from a professional study that estimated the range of potential fiscal adjustments and then modeled the associated economic outcomes.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the East-West Center invite you to join a public presentation and open dialogue by the Graduate School USA (GSUSA) exploring “The Economic Impacts of the End of Compact Grant Assistance in the Freely Associated States.” Please visit http://adb.pitiviti.org for the information session and access additional information.
